More anxiety
Today I was ready for exam and go figure no instructor and the exam wasn’t posted on MML. So no exam today!! I’ll be stressed out till Thursday!! UGH!!!!
Games
We played some board games in ACAM last week and I could feel myself getting frustrated with the problems. We covered CH.1 1-4 and I need to go back and refresh my memory. I have come up with a study guide and will study daily unti the Final. I would like to bring my B up to an A!!!!
Chapter Six
Chapter Six is not getting along with me so well…having a really hard time getting the right sign. I really need to concentrate on working the problem all the way through instead of trying to take short cuts. My notes are extremely helpful; I really wish I could use them on the Final.
Variables
Could not be more pleased with moving variables! I haven’t had any problems but must remember not to solve for the variables.
MML
“Although your answer is equivelant to the correct response it is still incorrect”, this seems to drive me crazy on MML!!! Come on now, if the answer is correct can’t you just give it to me? I am having a hard enough time as is…
Anxiety
I am exterely nervous about taking this class. Hopefully I can get rid of this anxiety and stay focused. We seem to have a good SI so I plan on spending as much time with him as possible.
Effective way to organize info
The best way for me to organize work is to keep it all filed. I have an organizer that I keep with me at all times, like to keep dates and times handy, and also I research info if need be. Keep a notebook for each class and folder.

Comments on notes
I received good comments on my notes today. In the future I will go thru each section in the book and add to my own notes. I will also use a highlighter to highlight points.
Study Plan
I need to spend some more time on my syudy plan. I want to pass this Chapter four test and will need to take the weekend to cram. I also need to study each chapter over Spring Break, I am gettin anxiety about the Final already…not a good sign.

I tend to talk to myself when doing Math Problems. I walk myself thru the problem.

I have also learned that note cards/flash cards work extremely well for me as well.

I am a visual and hand on learner. I am taking notes constantly. I need to be able to refer back to problems and rules.

How long would it have taken?
I believe it would have taken a day to travel back then considering they pasked up all of there belongings and had to travel. Today it would take ten minutes top.
How does solving the puzzle compare to solving a...
I had to look for all possible strageties. I like the puzzle better than formulas. It is different because numbers are not involved.

To solve my three dimensional puzzle I needed to manipulate the pieces around the box without turning them to get the square inside the box.

Math
Math has never been a good subject for me. I’ve done alot of Construction and electrical work in the past so I’m okay with numbers if I have blueprints in front of me. LOL. I guess I’m more of a hands on. I do have math anxiety. It’s going to take some work for me to pass this class.
